1. Why did you decide to migrate?
I decided to migrate for job opportunities and so that my kids could have a good education.
2. Do you think you made the right decision migrating to Missouri?
Yes, because, all of my children completed school and have jobs that can support their family.
3. How was Missouri different them Mississippi?
It was much more urban then what I had come from since we moved to the city area.
4. Were there any negative things you noticed when you first moved to St. Louis, Missouri?
At first I had an hard time finding a job but I did and it was a lot rougher then Mississippi.
5. What kind of adjustments did you have to make?
I had to adjust to not having family help me out with my kids when I was working.
6. Do you regret living ever?
At first I did because I felt really isolated at first since I left everything I knew.
7. Do you think that you made a big change?
No, I was just doing what was best for my family.
